The standard-fitted home charging cable is primarily designed as an auxiliary cable for household applications. For considerably faster and more convenient charging at home, we recommend installing a 240-volt Level 2 charger.
The battery means there is approximately 1100 lbs of extra weight that needs to be addressed in an impact – for the car’s occupants as well as for other vehicles. The battery also needs separate protection to avoid harmful leakage after a collision. Yes. All data is included for up to four years. This includes both for navigation and voice assistant, as well as downloading and running any type of apps (e.g. music streaming). After this period, the service can be extended as a subscription. The data for the four year subscription to the digital services package is included and begins the day the car is sold.
The electric motors are sealed for life and maintenance-free. So compared to a combustion engine-propelled car, the XC40 Recharge needs much less maintenance which may result in lower running costs.
Yes. We are working on a solution for paying online but for now, the order needs to be finalized and signed physically by you and the retailer in question.

If the battery or a battery module needs to be replaced, this can be done just like any other technical part of the car.
The most cost-effective way to charge the XC40 Recharge is to use AC charging or a Level 2 Public Charger if the car is going to be parked for a few hours at a destination (such as overnight). DC charging along the route is the fastest, most convenient way of charging the car if the destination is out of the current range of the car.Â
